Bonding 2 non-agressive buns

I took home a boy from the rescue centre today, the one I had planned taking home kept humping my girl and so the rescue didn't think they were a good fit.
Got another boy in and he was just being indifferent (which is a good sign) but my girl was still traumatised from the other boy who kept humping her even though he wasn't biting.

I decided to take him home anyway to try bond them slowly since he seemed to have good temperament. He was just sniffing her and my girl ran out of HER room lol..
my girl has no dominance in her whatsover and the boy would leave her alone most of the time but she's so scared?

If none are showing any aggression, should their bonding session last longer? I'm giving them both a rest for today as it's been a lOOOng day/drive for them both.
I've watched alot of vids but there's usually one dominate one, so sessions were short.

Well, you could try the same setup as with when one is clearly more dominant.
Small space, toys, hideyhouses, litterbox and food. Just see how it goes. If they don't fight then indeed, keep watch on them as long as you like. If they do have quarrels, break thwir squabbles. Continue until bond has been formed.

Prob the boy is more dominant? well he's curious.. he kept thumping on the car ride home, I thought it was my girl and kept yelling at her lol

ok so now he's obviously bored being trapped in his side of the room and curious so he kept trying to come to her which totally freaked her out, I had to cover the pen so they can't see each other even though they are separated.

he kept thumping at her even though she was just cowering in a corner poor thing and then he kept running circles around me thumping :s

I kept him in the room by himself while she was free-roaming outside since she was scared to come back in her room coz he was there - this was for about 2-3hrs so we call all rest.

They're both fixed and hormone-calmed right? It sounds a little odd that he would be thumping like crazy, but maybe he's just angry or scared or even extra dominant...

Anyway, no point in worrying about every move, patience. In one month or so you can tell how they are doing, not after a few hours.

I will ring tmr to ask when he got fixed. I'm actually quite annoyed they didn't let me bring my first choice home coz I thought the humping was normal :/ and he was only fixed 1-2 weeks ago.... they said usually rabbits bond straight away and I was like ???? I thought that's rare...???

My girl was spayed in March so def not hormonal.

Well if he'd only been fixed for a couple of weeks then it'd be in his hormones, most likely. Keep us updated!

the boy I brought home instead (I found out today) was also only fixed 1-2 weeks ago :s, He kept humping my girl today.. and they both kept stomping at each other.
I will only let them see and smell each other for now and will start proper bonding sessions in another 3 weeks...

He sprayed me last night and today, parkoured and sprayed on the middle of the wall. Hopefully he calms down in a month omigod

Yeah, Storm was fixed three days ago and he's still the "same old jerk" he was-biting me at random and seeking out my skin when i have to pick him up. He's bit my neck twice!
I also have to wait and hope for his hormones to chill when a month or so has passed. Then we can start looking for a girl to accompany him. Maybe, if we land on a calmer girl, Storm would also chill a bit?

update:
first 2 days: I only let them see each other when I fed them their pellets,

3rd day - I've left some parts of their pens uncovered so they can see each other when eating (their litter trays/hay are side by side) but left some covered bits for when my girl wants to be in peace and sleep away from him.

She's been squeezing her head in the gaps to his side today with her head down to be licked but he is just smelling her and rubbing his chin, can't tell if he's nipping? probably is, he nips me alot too and it hurts .

They been taking turns out of their pen throughout the day - my girls out 7hrs and the boy is out 5hrs (in 2 time slots)

she been licking him through the pen but he hates her still and its definite nipping coz she flinches and stops.
