Bladder issue or not litter trained?

Hi everyone,

I recently adopted a female holland lop to bond with my male fuzzy lop. She is about 4 years old and has been with me for about 2 weeks now. I find that I'm always finding pee outside of her litter box and having to clean it up. How can you tell if a rabbit has bladder issues vs is just not yet potty trained? I'm curious because bonding has taken a huge step back, and if she had a medical issue that would explain why my male suddenly turned on her. I'm a college student working a minimum wage job, so I don't really have the money to take her to the vet "just in case." Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you

Is she spayed? Spaying helps with litter training, bonding, and females have a very high chance of cancer by the age of 2 if not spayed.

Yes she is spayed!

Maybe she is in the litter box but she pees over it. I’m pretty sure rabbit can pee quite high? What litter box do you have?

It’s just the litter boxes from target. The pee is never right next to the litterbox it’s always on the other side of the room or on the rug, etc. Which makes me think she’s either marking her territory or she just goes when she needs to

hmm. Maybe she just isn’t litter trained?
