I got quite a shock earlier today.

I was using some paper towels to wipe upsome waterIspilled on the floor. Hannah immediately charged over aggressively, andripped the paper towels from my hand and started "killing" them. Ithought I was imagining things so I put the paper towels up and out ofsightm thenlowered them to the floor again and she camecharging at them again. I've never seen her act this way with anythingelse.

Does anyone else's bunnies do this with paper towels or anything else?

My Maisie attacks the handbroom I use to sweepout her cage...enough so that she wound up having to go to the vet fromit being too close to her cage, and her eating a few of thebristles!! :) Stinky bunnies!!

Hehe...I always feel sorry for Mr. Handboom,too...especially considering Maisie made a snack of him once!I think Maisie's won the fight vs the handbroom, hands down!!

:lol:nope::sweep:boxing

LOL! I can just imagine those poor handbrooms.

All 3 of mine pretty much ignore the handbroom. They'll sniff it andtry to snatch a bristle if they think I'm not watching. Hannah likes topick up the little dustpan and throw it, though. But if she so much ashears the paper towels being torn off the roll she goes into attackbunny mode and starts charging. I just wish I knew what those poorpaper towels did to upset her so much. LOL

Don't you know, she worked really hard on that mess, stop cleaning it up!

Before Basil was neutered, he used to attackpaper towels. Mostly bc I would use it to pick up his droppings on thecarpet. He would see the paper towel and charge and grunt at it! Healmost got my hand a few times!

Haha! If I put a scoop in Cocoa's cageto clean some things up, he always comes over and bites in and tries topush it away. It is so funny to me! I am surprisedhe doesn't run away from it. He always comes right over andtries to get rid of it!!

A lot of times when I go to clean out Flower'scage, she'll come over, sit on the spot I'm trying to clean, andsuddenly turn into The Incredible Immovable Bunny.Literally...it's next to impossible to move her! And when youpush on her side a little, she gets VERY mad, and goes into a honkingand grunting fit! It's too funny.

Even when I take her foodbowl out of it's holder (see my other postabout how to keep them from overturning their bowls), when I go to putit back, she puts her head RIGHT where it needs to go and WON'TMOVE!! It's so frustrating, but silly at the same time, so,though I'm frustrated a tad, I can't help but giggle at the sillyconundrum I got myself into.

I've even tried sticking the bag of food into the cage just to refillit (since I have to refill Maisie's food when she's not around thebowl, or risk getting nibbled), but both buns then take to attackingthe bag!! :shock:

What funny dilemmas, eh?

This, in conjunction with Maisie's attacking the handbroom, makescleaning time really entertaining (and even a bit funny). Ifind it funny that such a cute, cuddly, furry,innocent-and-sweet-looking little animal can get so mad and be soadamant about things! Who knows what lurks in the hearts ofbunnies....:D Makes me think that the Monty Python showwasn't terribly far off with their Killer Bunny Rabbit! :D
