Yup, you read the title correctly. Berry-Boo is gone now. She found her forever home and was adopted out this afternoon. I feel great about where she is, but it was still sad to see her go. She went to a wonderful, loving home. They have had a previous rabbit, who passed away not too long ago. Berry-Boo found the perfect home. It was still hard to say goodbye to somebun who has been in my dining room for four months. She will be missed... but she will be very happy in her new home.

Did you tell them about RO? and her fanclub? :cry4:I'll miss her so much but I am so happy for her.

Oh, goodness. I'm so happy for Berry-Boo. I am dreading the day my fosters leave me for their forever home. I know it's going to happen. I know I will be happy for them. And very sad for me.

Her new mom has been on the forum before, just gathering information. I hope she comes on and keeps us updated on Berry-Boo's new shenanigans. I told her that Berry-Boo has a bit of a "cult following" on the board. ;)

It sounds like little Berry-Boo has a true "rags to riches" story. She came from an over-filled shelter to us. Now she has her own room (from my understanding) and her new parents are making her a nice cage. She even has her own mirror. It is one of those tall, hallway mirrors, the ones that go at the end of the hall?. It is on its side so she can hop along it and play. I really hope that they keep us all updated!

I'm really glad she has a great home of her own, but I know you'll miss her. I hope her new slave keeps us updated!

... Want to foster a Sheboygan bun? Boz said they're near 20, including some of my babies I raised! Not including a darling Jersey Wooley who was given to a pet store to adopt out, she's a sweetheart...

I am so happy for her that she found a forever home, but........:nerves1 I will miss that adorable face!! I hope that her new parents will come on and give us updates. How are you holding up?

I think I have to pass on fostering from now on. I want to get Toby a friend, and I can only have two bunnies at my apartment. There is a cute little girl on Craigslist that needs to be rehomed. I was thinking of trying her out.

Man, I hope Berry-Boo has a great life. I keep trying not to cry. I just know in the morning, I am going to get up, walk down the hall and try to feed her. This time, though, it will only be an empty cage greeting me. No more funny mornings of Berry-Boo trying to squish her face through the NIC spaces trying to get to the food. No more feeding her one-food-pellet-at-a-time through the cage bars to be a jerk. I miss her :( I am tearing up while writing this.

She's definitely a sweetheart....... how are you two feeling about it?
Right now, I am bawling my eyes out. No lie. I am a blubbering mess. Will isn't showing any emotions right now. He's sleeping. Darn men.

Does anyone else have this problem saying goodbye to their foster-buns?

why dont u visit her every now and then?

I'm sad over Berry Boo! I'd never be able to foster my own!!!

I thought Will might be sad too. I know she loved him and he really liked her.

:hugs:

Thanks, Bo B :)

Will is a bit sad, but being he's of the male species, he doesn't let his feelings show. I held back tears all day, but writing in here is what set me off. I won't get to see her silly antics anymore. I almost feel like no one was going to be good enough for our little Berry-Boo. I don't even know if they are keeping her name. Poor girlie. She must be terrified in a new home right now. We did let them have her old things, though. She took along two fleecy blankets, two towels, an old scrub top, a carpet/mat, and some toys. So, she has things that smell like "home". I hope that she transitions well. At least better than I am...

Here is a picture of her. :)

:cry2You took her out of your siggy.

I'm not doing so well either. I love her. Toby misses her too.

I was getting all blubbery when I saw the icons... She's not my bun anymore. She has a new set of parents. I didn't think I would miss her this much...

Toby celebrated her absence by pooping all over our hallway... :grumpy:

So we know Toby doesn't miss her. GO TOBY. Now u won't miss Berry-Boo so much 'cause you'll be cleaning up after Toby.
... :grumpy:

I wish they would have gotten along better. She would have been perfect if she was just a little older and not so moody. She is in a single-bunny household with parents who are going to spoil her rotten. I am going to miss snorting her fur, though.

I am an emotional wreck. I am happy for her, but I am going to miss the little things... *goes and pouts in the corner*

I miss our little "hot dog"...
