A few of you mayhave read about his crash into puberty !! He nearenough changed from being a gentle little bunny, to a raging individualwho lunges, bites and chases anything that moves ... especially me! He thinks it's super fun to spray all over the place andloves to drop little "love bombs" all over the place .. (i.e.poops)

I'll be giving the vet a call tonight.... and HOPEFULLY, after his neuter he will go back to being GentleBen and not ferocious little monster !

Actually .. am making light of this really ...it has got to the point where we really dont want to handle him atall.

Hollie has had her finger bitten down to the bone, andI got anasty bite on my lip - he persistently bites, lunges and chases, andoncehe catches you he digs his teeth in and wont letgo!

We let him come to us,and don't stroke him ... he bites .. welet him come to us, stroke him, and he turns and bites your hand ... wejust cant seem to do anything right.

Marvin is going through that phase as well. Haven't contacted the vet yet, but I certainly will.

Marvin will at least let himself get petted... but if you stop...hmmmmmmm bunny will whine, thump, nibble, jump on me, dig on mychest... and hump.

So far, I can live with that... but he poops a lot outside the box...so if anything... that's why I'll snip-snip him off his balls...

I had wanted to have my doe fixed, but the newfound exotic pet vet I found didn't want to spay her. Seemshe felt more confident with neuters, less complications. Soyou are fortunate in that you have a buck, in that matter atleast.

I'm guesstimating my Fluffy is 5 months old... she Now weighs 4.2 lbs.(gained a whole lb in one month! eek!) Her behavior indoorswhile having her daily indoor 'run' of the living room, dining room andkitchen... when she had been so GREAT at only pooping in her cage& litterbox. She has begun leaving her little nuggetsoutside her cage. It started on the sofas... maybe where ourscent was stronger... so I washed the slipcovers.. that didhelp! Now it's really getting out of hand... I didn't objectto the area around her cage, because she kicks stuff out anyway and Ihand vac it often anyway... but she's dropping all around the carpetedflooring... under foot!

Will spaying her help with this? Also, she nips more than sheused to (but not hard).. and scrabbles (or digs on me) too ruffly.. butas communication that I understand... Is this herhormones? Actually I can deal with the communicative nippingoccasionally... and can tolerate the scrabbling even... but thepooping... it's a problem I do hope to improve on. How can Iget her back to her good behaviour of just dropping in her ownterritory. Is she claiming the living room now? Irecall reading when this happens to reduce the buns territory.. saylike back to just the kitchen.. then gradually expand itagain. Is this the answer? Advice wouldbe appreciated.LA
