Behavior change in doe

I had 2 bonded does that were together for a few months. I separated them right before the one gave birth to her first litter. Now the babies are 4 weeks old and I want to keep the 2 does together again, but the one that's not the mom wants to attack the babies. The mother rabbit didn't step in. Will she get used to the babies or will she need to be separate until the babies are grown?

Chances are REALLY high that now that the two does have been separated that they won't go back together again. A mother rabbit won't step in to protect her kits once they are of age to be weaned (and four weeks is right at that mark).
