We had to put our dog Baxter down on Monday. He just turned 6. He had cancer and would of needed a full blood transfusion on top of cancer treatment and was in a lot of pain.

good bye sunshine. we love you.

Oh no... I'm so sorry to hear that :( As much as it hurts, you did the right thing and took him away from the pain.

Run free, Baxter :rainbow:

What a beautiful dog. I'm so sorry about Baxter.

You did the best thing for him, and he is chilling up at the bridge now, checking up on you often.

I'm so sorry - Baxter is beautiful and it looked like he loved the bunnies!

He will be missed but now he is pain free and running at the Rainbow Bridge.

RIP Baxter :(

Oh no, I'm so sorry :( I can't imagine how you must feel...

I remember the picture of him in your blog with one of the bunnies... He was a beautiful boy!

RIP Baxter

Thank you everyone. Yes, Baxter was a lover of everyone, including all the bunnies. We miss him so much, it just hurts. My husband unfortunately couldnt take the quiet and the pain, so he rushed out and got a new dog, I hope it's a good distraction for him. We will raise him (Jaxson) to be a lover of bunnies as well.
