Was wondering if any of you know:

what is the most excellent part of the house to put a bunny?

what temperature range could they tolerate?

is it really important to neuter a male bunny?

ifyes, when is the window of opportunity???

Just some questions from your own experience......

and curiosity.........

I have read the the best place to put the bunny is where there will bea flow of "traffic" every day..meaning the bun will be able to see whathis family is doing throughout the day...but at the same time, thereshould not be a constant disturbance, because they do like timeto themselves.

I have also read that the average temperature to keep your buns in is around 65 degrees...correct me if I'm wrong...

Getting a male bunny neutered, I feel, is important, because thislessens the liklihood if them spraying thier territory and basicallyrids them of all kind of nasty behaviors they develope as theymature. The ideal time to neuter a rabbit is after histesticles descend, your vet will be able to tell if they have droppedyet or not. This can happen anywhere between 3-6months...maybe even earlier or later depending on the rabbit. However many vets do not neuter/spay until 6 months of age.

Hope this helps!

I keep my buns by the balcony door just becausemy condo's heat can't really be controlled by us so its superhot in here, so they get some cool air there.

About neutering, well, I know it lessens the chance of testicularcancer, how can a bun get cancer of the testes when he doesn't haveany, right?

About the behaviour change though, I have 2 non-neutered males, andthey both don't spray or show any agression at all (unless its witheachother, which is rare) and Peppy is over a year old, so I'm assuminghe's "mature" and Samson is 7 months and also has his testes dropped soI'm assuming he's also "mature" now.

I suppose I'm lucky to have two great male buns who don't show any kind of typical male behaviour.

I believe neutering is a personal choice you have to make because everyone has their different opinions on it.

I see it as, why neuter my boys and put them through the pain to changetheir behaviour when they're behaviour is perfectly fine.
