Hello! Is okay to give them ashitaba a lot? How much is too much?

I notice that my bunnies really love them and prefer over any food I serve that's why I only give them in the afternoon after they've been on hay the whole day. Their main diet includes hay, moringa leaves, banana leaves, mulberry leaves, and pellets.... and this Ashitaba.

I knew it's safe to feed them as it belongs to the celery family, thou I thought it's richer since this dark green leaf has a lot of medicinal value for human consumption. But Im thinking of giving them a lot. Here in my location some breeders use banana leaves and mulberry leaves as full substitute to hay.

Thanks for your replies!

It is unlikely you will find many rabbit people in the USA what are familiar with Ashitaba. If you read about it in Wikipedia it should put your mind at ease.

If I had access to ashitaba I would feed it to my bunnies. It seems to have good nutritional value.

Thanks for your insight. I wonder if it is a good substitute... It is native in Japan and has spread all thru out Asia. Ive seen some enthusiasts have this in the US thru Greenhouse.
