If you didn't know, I had plans to move the family to Sacramento in the spring. Well...Errik got offered a promotion to a graveyard manager which he was wanting for the longest time. His schedule will be exclusively 7 days on, 7 off. With that coming into play, let's just say any plans on moving from the immediate area is off. But staying in our current living situation is not fesible either. We have 2 people, 2 cats, 4 buns and 5 ratties all in one room and the whole apartment we share with 4 other people and a dog. Tight fit really.

So now Rina is off to go apartment hunting in the Orange County/LA County areas. BAH!!!!!!! Hate. I'm ready to just throw darts at a map and hand them money.

Who do you share the apartment with? I can't imagine living in those tight quarters!

If it's a high priced area I hope you find a nice place you can afford. I know it can be tough.

What does Erikk do?

3 bedroom 2.5 bath townhouse. 1 bedroom, 1 bath for my friend and his girlfriend. 1 bedroom for the girlfriend's friend and her boyfriend. 1 bedroom for me and Errik. 1 bathroom that's shared by 4 of us and a toilet downstairs for guests. All the animals besides the dog stays in our room.

I think it'll be harder for my friend to find replacement roomies for himself than us finding a new place to move into. I'd feel guilty and end up paying the rent until he could find a replacement regardless of if I continue living here or not.

Errik works at Walgreens currently as a SIMS Coordinator. He makes sure inventory is correct and the store orders all they need. Does all the nitty gritty paperworks for the store. Once he gets promoted he'll be working as an assistant manager for the graveyard shifts, working 10:45pm to 8am for 7 days straight, then getting 7 days off and so forth.

That's awesome! I can't imagine living with that many people (except like my kids and hubby) and not killing them! LOL!

Congrats Erikk!!!

Well...actually we have tried. Roommate's gf's got punched, her friend got slapped, I got my hair pulled and the dog got stepped on. Was an exciting night lmao.

Turn key refers to something that is ready for immediate use. $875 a month in Southern California is great! Good luck.
Thank you slavetoabunny! For the info and luck :)
