I get really excited for going back to school because I know I get to go buy a bunch of office supply stuff! :biggrin2:
I used to get really excited when we were starting out the school year with homeschooling because not only were the kids getting new school supplies - but I had an excuse to get stuff too!

I was really disappointed when Eric was home a couple of weeks ago and I offered for us to go to Walmart to get him some stuff (his nearest Walmart is 60 miles away)...and he was like, 'I'm fine - I have enough stuff for school...".

Oh well.....

Is this where I get to stand up also and state, "One can never have enough office supply items because they may get used some day in the future, they are a matching set, or they were on clearance with extra percent off -- so how could I resist?"

I always shop at Office Max, the only office supply store in town. One time there was a whole endcap of matching padfolios, address books, stationary, ect. that went to clearance. That was the first time I ever wished I had a high-powered job so that I would actually have a reason to buy the entire matching set of pads, wallets, organizers and stationaries.

I even found some wire storage/organizer bins that I reasoned I could buy because they were onclearance and they would make great hay bins for the rabbits. Guess what, the rabbits love them because the hay sticks out all over and it is much more fun to pick out that one piece sticking out at the top of the organizer bin. The bins also have little feet so they are up off of the floor in case of a pee puddle which could ruin all of that hay if in a dish on the floor. :D

Oh yeah, office supplies!!!!! Useful and multifunctional... How can one go wrong?!!!

BAD BAD Peggy....

 They havnt stocked them ANYWHERE in the uk that I can find, I have so gotta get a pack (or two :p ) if the start stocking them! The problem is you find your self writing on literally EVERYTHING with a sharpie once you find its amazingness lol

"If I knew your name and address, I would send you a bouquet of freshly sharpened pencils." This is a line from one of my favorite movies, You've Got Mail. I think I remember this line so well because I thought when I heard it that a bouquet of pencils, pens, markers, etc. would be so much more fun than flowers.

Yes, I too aman office supply junkie. Or at least an art supply junkie.I think I may have the same addicitions as Bassetluv... art supplies, antique stores and hardware stores but lets also add book stores to that, especially USED books stores. And next time I'm in Ohio I may have to track down that hardware store with wooden floors and lots of open bins that seniorcats mentioned;) I love stuff!
