I especially like their Days Gone By series and would like to order directly from them. I see they also carry Lisa Overduin's charts. I used to order directly fromLisa years ago so I am glad to see she is still designing.

My husband has done 2 of their charts... complicated lil instructions he says...

Yeah he does cross stitiching to calm his nerves...either he cross stitches or people get their heads ripped off..lol

I've done a lot of cross-stitching, too. Started when I was Em's age. I really love it, and after reading your mention of your hubby doing it, Zin, I was inspired to start again! :)

I don't recognize the brand name, or I'd comment on that, as well...but I don't really look at brand names when I'm doing things. Not to mention, I think they'd faint at how much I change patterns to suit my own colors or taste, hehe!

I should do more work, and take pictures for ya'll. :)

Hugs!

I hear ya'! 30+ years ago I worked at a little needlework shop in Fayetteville, NC. One of the Generals from Ft. Bragg used to come in weekly to buy stitching supplies. He did gorgeous work. His blood pressure was so high his doctor suggested he take up needlework as a relaxation. He was a real 'trip' when he came in wearing full uniform and ranting and swearing that he needed a bigger project to keep him occupied. The meticulous detail of his pieces - oh my!

Hey Rosie! I would love to see pic's!

I will take pics for ya'll...

I also have a computer program that takes pics and converts them into cross stitch patterns..

I will dig that out for ya'll and make it into a downloadable file for anyone who is interested..

Wow! Would also love the program.

PC stitch has a free download for a pattern viwer and you can use it for some tasks. Nothing too complicated though. http://www.pcstitch.com/PatternViewer/PatView.aspx

Anyone remember that big football player, Rosie Grier, who did needlepoint? Caused quite a ruckus at the time. I keep trying to convince hubby that quilting would be a relaxing hobby for him to take up.
