i was wondering if it is normal for a rabbit toshake and shiver all the time. she is like a chiuahwah. SHE NEVER STOPSSHIVERING. it isnt even cold out. ITS 96 DEGREES!
96 degrees and she's shaking? Soundslike heat stroke! Read this thread, follow the advice, and ifshe's that bad she may need veterinary attention. This soundspretty serious.
FYI, BDSnare didn't update, but for the benefitof others with shaking and shivering bunnies, it didturn outto be heat-related. He took her to the vet, who suggestedfans and air-conditioning, and it cleared up in a couple ofdays. (He didn't mention it in the post, but her mouth andchest were wet/damp, which would have been a key symptom for adiagnosis).
So all is well with little Diddle. (She's also become very friendly). :bunnydance:
