I have two bunnies that need a new home. They are good buns but need some training only with chewing carpet and wood. Their ideal situation like be a nice sized pen bigger than 4x4 with some kind of high roof because they are jumpers. Moo is 2 years old and Tulip(Tuli) is 1 years old. Moo was previously bonded with an older dwarf bunny that passed about a year ago and then bonded with tuli no problem. He is neutered while tulip is not spayed. Tulip is mixed with lop as only one ear is dropped and moo has some Rex in him I believe. Moo is more socialized than tuli because I’ve been able to spend lots more amount of time with him. When I got tulip I had just started a new job so I didn’t get to spend much time it’s her but I could tell moo needed a friend after his others passing. Eventually I moved into an apartment and brought them with. I did freeroam them in my room and all was well until they started to chew up the carpet. Previously I had them at my dads house freeroamed and they were mostly on an area rug that had low fibers and was a decade old so it was already flattened and they had no problem with that but long fibers they really like to get at. After causing some patch damage and fear of being evicted I had to move them back into my dads but he didn’t want them freeroamed anymore because I wasn’t going to be there. So I bought them a pen that is 4x4 but not tall enough. They have decided to put them in the basement and the bunnies jump over the pen and get out and make their way upstairs and it’s a pain trying to catch them and put them back so they’ve just left them be and occasionally close the basement door. They have also neglected them. Each time I go there they have no food or water and unfortunately I don’t have the time to go there and take care of them properly and the situation that they’re in not is not a good one. I’ve decided to try the waters of rehoming them before giving them to the humane society. These bunnies mean the absolute world to me and it breaks my heart that they’re in this situation and I really want to give them to someone who can give them the proper attention they need.
