    bedding for bunny

It really depends on your bunny. I have a pair of bunnies that love their fleecy blankets to snuggle in. I have a bunny who will use a soft bed. Most of my other bunnies will pee on anything soft, or just shove it in a corner and ignore it. I think I've seen on the forum about someone's bun...

    Should I?

Hehe thanks guys! :) Isobel is settling down nicely, and I think I will try and get a few pics of her tomorrow. Jinx... I don't know how this woman could have seen Jinx as aggressive. He's such a softie! If I'm honest, I was a little worried at first and kind of nervous around him, the way she...

    The Degerfield Bunnies

Well, the boys are home from their neuters and are... acting as if nothing happened. ;) The vet said that they "ate like troopers", as soon as they woke up started stuffing their faces, ate everything they were given, then stood in a circle around the bowl like, "okay, where's the rest of it?"...

Opinions on getting a rabbit used to being picked up?

Personally, if one of my buns does not like being picked up, then I won't do so unless necessary. Bunny HATES being picked up. So we don't do it. Unless we have to medicate/trim nails etc, in which case we use a towel and bundle him while we do whatever. If I were to try and pick him up a lot...

    Should I?

Hehe. Isobel is actually uppy. At least she is for now - like I said 7-ish weeks so I guess she could yet lop. :) She does have quite wide ears like you might expect from a lop... but who knows.

    Should I?

Well, they called back. And last night they brought 'Fluffy' round. He's. Beautiful. He hasn't been aggressive with us at all so far. He's what you'd expect from an unneutered male. A bit of a nip when Lee put his hands in his cage but I expected that - he's just defending his space, nervous...

DO FEMALE RABBITS HAVE TO BE OLDER TO HAVE A DEWLAP?

I personally don't know how to tell a rabbit's age. Maybe take her to the vet and ask if they can tell you? But I can tell you that girly bunnies can get dewlaps from a few months old - having a dewlap doesn't mean she's an 'older' bun, and she could quite easily be 9 months old. :)

My Friend Found 4 Baby Bunnies HELP

I wouldn't have thought bringing them to your yard would be a good idea.. then their mum won't be able to find them.. All I can think of is to have your friend put them back where she found them, maybe with something over them so that only mummy rabbit can get in but they'll be safe from dogs...

Yeah Nigel and Violet are still together. Still uber-snuggly. They bonded straight away, they've not even had a tiff yet. But if Nigel does know he's her daddy, then he's a big fat perv!

    The Degerfield Bunnies

Well, the boys are booked in for their neuters on Friday! I'm worried about themmmm..... As I'm always worried about any of my babies when they go in for surgery, of course. I just flipped them all to double check that their.. erm.. bits were there and they'd be ready - I hadn't realised just...

    Meet Sofia!

Sounds like when we bonded Ollie and Mango. Ollie is very needy, he always wants to be groomed. He used to follow Rose around and shove his head under her all the time, and he did it to Mango when we started trying to bond them too. They were great in the bathroom, or the garden - neutral...

    Should I?

I know. It makes me sad. I told her that if it didn't work out then to give me a call whenever, so hopefully they will, and won't just dump him.

    Should I?

So... we were supposed to meet the little guy this weekend. But.. the owner has decided to keep him, at least for a while, because her kid cried when she told him the bunny was going away. So she's going to see if she can find a cheap neuter and see if it calms him down. Honestly, the kid...

Thanks all! Harvey and Delilah are getting along great. And Delilah is getting so big so quickly! Harvey's been having a bit of trouble with one of his back feet - not sure if he's managed to cut himself or if it was a blister (sore hocks?) which has burst but he's been tracking a little blood...

    Should I?

Yeah this guy is apparently not neutered as yet. I'm also told that they've had him a little under a year... easter bunny the kids are bored with, anyone? I'm not sure about trying to persuade them to give him to a shelter... they seem to be getting aggitated by all my questions already, which...

    Should I?

Well... I know... I suck at saying no. When we brought Delilah home I put my foot down with myself. That's it. We're at full capacity. No more. I want to work on bonding my current bunnies together, and bonding with them myself. But... Tonight we get a message from a friend, who says that a...

Harvey and Delilah are sharing a cage! For now at least. They seem comfortable enough. I'm going to see how they are right before I go to bed but I think they'll spend the night together. :)

    The Degerfield Bunnies

Hehe. I had missed that - thanks for the link! Delilah and Harvey had their first bonding session this evening, and it went super well. No aggression at all (except when we gave them a carrot, they don't share well!) Delilah is 13 weeks old on Wednesday. She's only about a third of Harvey's...
