    No post-Winter moulting?

My buns have the opposite situation to the usual moulting problem of losing lots of fur at once. The temperatures in SE England have hit 30 degrees this week and both my buns still have their full winter coats with no sign of imminent moulting. Poor buns are kept in the shade of course and...

My bun digging through her food

Ebony does the same thing with her pellets, kicking out some and leaving a few in the bowl. She does eat the kicked out pellets sooner or later tho'. Jo x

Does anyone else do what I sometimes do

I have two unfixed rabbits-1 male and 1 female. They live separately but have to be exercised in the same area. What tends to determine who comes out first is that if Ebony (the larger, female rabbit) is out first then its simple. If however I let Guy (small male bun) out first Ebony will make...

Grooming on me, are they begaining to really trust me?

    Dewlap?

The dewlap is some reflection on your rabbit's weight. My Ebony bun is a stocky mini-lop who has a noticeable dewlap. My vet told me that rabbits store fat in their dewlap in the same way that camels store water in their humps (kind of a reserve store). Although it shouldn't affect the rabbit's...

What type of grooming does your rabbit require?

Guy rabbit who is a small Holland Lop, keeps his "duster-pile" soft fur in lovely condition without any help from me. The only time I'll get out a grooming brush is when he's mid-moult (to help remove the loose fur). Jo xx
