Concern For New Baby - Cecal and Crusty Nose

Hmmm.... This is a tough one. I don't see anything wrong with a vet trip, even if it is just for them to tell you he is healthy. I always suggest new additions go to the vet, kind of like, a new baby, you take them to the doctor right after they come home. LOL Tim, my French Lop, was the runt...

Insatiable appetite, lots of output - normal or no?

I'd love to see the blood work. Is there any chance you can scan it and put it up or copy the levels? I know that's a pain in the butt, but it can be so helpful. I think you might want a second opinion before giving the antibiotic. I hate to see any antibiotic used unnecessarily, and I'm still...

    Cirrustwi's Critter Crew

The Reptiles My first reptiles were Bearded Dragons. I have a trio of 2 females and 1 male. They are all just sort of hanging out in this pic. I can't believe I got them all in one! I have wanted a Veiled Chameleon for so long, but I refused to get one because I believed they were very...

    Cirrustwi's Critter Crew

The Cats Cirrus is such an amazing cat and the old man of the group. He's a Siamese/Himalayan mix I just adore him. In this photo, he was actually watching my snake crawling in the grass. I'm missing pics of my 3 stripey girls: Shasta, Mischa and Brosia

    Cirrustwi's Critter Crew

The Dogs Harley is my 6 year old Lab/Rottie mix. He's the Official Guardian of Lost Kits. When I was breeding, if a kit managed to find it's way out of the cage, he would find it and keep it warm under his chin until I came to claim it. (He also promptly gave them a bath!) Jake is my Yorkie...

(So, this might be a little lacking in photos for a bit because my camera seems to have grown legs...:run: ) I'm going to start with the reigning king of the crew, Timothy. He is my 2 year old French Lop.

    Red

I'm pretty confused here. I have some more questions, but at this moment, I'm going to guess poison as well. At one point, I had a cage where one rabbit in it died very unexpectedly, I cleaned and disinfected it and put a different rabbit in it and he too died within 24 hours of being put in...

Insatiable appetite, lots of output - normal or no?

Yes, maybe too many veggies and too much stress from the combo of everything. Keep watching her.

Bad hare day in more ways than one.

With a false pregnancy, you need to just watch for mastitis. In my experience, it's not very common, but does can sometimes develop infections in the mammary glands following a pregnancy and even sometimes a false one. Jen P.S. I've actually seen a spayed doe go through a false pregnancy. She...

Mother and 2 kitten/My current foster cat

Sorry to hear about baby #4. That's tough, but I think that somehow in these situations, nature knows what's best. Maybe that's just my way of explaining it all. Jen

Pipp wrote:  This was my first Flemish's favorite as well!! And he did it from day 1. The day I picked him up, I came home with holes in my shirt from him digging and nipping at it! I lost more shirts to that rabbit. LOL

    Questions About Baytril

    Welcome To Buck's Bunny Bistro!

I'm so glad to be back, but I do have to say that this area brings tears to my eyes. I think most of Buck and Carolyn's advice will be good forever. I'm so sad to hear about Sebastian. I'm sure their hearts are broken. I get to chat with Tina occasionally on Facebook. I'll send her a message...
