I believe you need to mix essential oils with a carrier oil, such as Olive oil because the concentrated essential oils are too strong. Fennel oil can be used as an antibiotic and help digestion issues.

they do look normal, sometimes some of the babies have skin that does have a sheen, for me it is the fatter ones that have the sheen, but they look quite normal.
