Treats! Give treats while trimming his/her nails! My youngest would let me trim his nails if there are treats in front of him. My oldest, I'll have to put her on my lap while feeding her treats. But my middle bun, he doesn't want to be carried (as all bunnies) and giving treats wont help...

It said that their lifespan is at least 10years and I have heard before that smaller breeds don't live as long as regular size or larger breeds but I would like to believe that all bunnies, when properly taken cared of, can live at least 10 years or more :)

Maybe someone can hold your bunny while you try to properly check the nail? You can maybe still trim it if he'll let you. Not sure if possible but maybe the quick broke from inside? =/ I'm not familiar with meloxidyl but upon checking it seems to be a generic version of meloxicam which is pain...

Hi! Have you taken your bunny to the vet for an initial check up to ensure he is healthy? :) This would help find out if they have any underlying sickness. Can you check his tummy if he's bloated? maybe try to massage it. I agree with the previous message, remove the cardboard and give more hay =)
