How do you keep your hay mess contained?

Sure. Tomorrow is cleaning day which is why the pens are disasters.

How do you keep your hay mess contained?

I struggle with keeping the hay off of the floor and I've noticed that in a lot of the pictures posted on the forum there's not a single piece of hay on the floor. I know the obvious answer is to sweep daily but I usually don't have time for that. Would hay racks be a good idea because I...

Looking for a rabbit savvy vet in Estonia

I'm like 90% sure that Walmart used to sell red leaf but I haven't seen it in months. I can usually find green leaf there though. Bugs has issues with kale and collard greens so they don't get those unless they don't have much of their other stuff in stock. I don't think it's fair to feed it to...

Looking for a rabbit savvy vet in Estonia

And here I am thinking I got a good deal on cilantro at 90c a bundle lol. He must really like you! All I get is bit and scratched.

    Horrific rabbit death

If you want the dog rehomed, that's what you should continue to fight for. I'm sorry you're going through this.

    Bloated stomach - Please Help

Does he seem gassy at all? If you have simethicone (baby gas relief drops) on hand I'd recommend giving some of that and monitoring him. I'd suggest trying to find a vet now just in case.

    New to bonding

If they aren't fighting in the large space I doubt it'll be an issue. Some pairs prefer smaller spaces and some pairs like like a larger, open space. Why do you think the space is too big?

    Horrific rabbit death

I'm sorry for your loss. I had a french bulldog that brutally killed then ate 3/4 of our house chickens (bet you've never heard that term) while I was at school a little over a year ago that I was the one to find. Coming home to that was one of the worst days of my life and seeing everything I...

    New to bonding

If you're nervous about fights during the night, I'd recommend sleeping in the pen with them all night. You'd have to be creative with the pen layout though. My first overnight was done in a 4 foot by 4 foot x-pen and my back definitely didn't appreciate that lol. I ended up making a diamond...

    Bonding- one happy, one scared

Sometimes grooming at first can look like nibbling/biting the fur. Nipping is also how rabbits communicate with each other and it's not always a bad thing :)

    Alyssa's Bunny Blog!

Snowball isn't allowed out of his cage in my sister's room and he can't come out into the living room because my dad doesn't like him and he pees and poops everywhere. I brought him into my room yesterday so he could explore while I got some homework done and Bugs flipped out. I've never seen...

Welcome to the forum! Very cute bunnies!

    New to bonding

Chasing is something bonded bunnies will do. It's usually done in a playful way unless there's latching on/aggression. Grooming each other is something that will come with time so I wouldn't worry too much about that. If the lop let the rex join her without any issue that's great! My two would...

    Hello, I’m a total newbie

I thought I was the only one who thought this. It's obvious she has good intentions but she also believes there's only one way to care for rabbits (indoors and free-roam) and for most of us, that's impossible. Lennon is her first rabbit.

    New to bonding

That's amazing! My very first bonding attempt was with a very scared Mini Lop (she wouldn't even move during sessions) and my very social Holland Lop. I did a few sessions outside and that was the only time she really opened up and moved. She was housed outdoors for the first few years of her...

Female rabbit is actually a male

This is going to be pretty off topic but I just want to share my thoughts. I got Bugs off of Craigslist almost a year and a half ago. Despite doing extensive research, I had no idea there were such thing as rabbit rescues. I was 13 without a job and I doubt a rescue would adopt out to someone...

    Young rabbit diet?

I give my young rabbit 1/4 cup of pellets in the morning and again at night. If you're feeding the youth rabbit pellets, I'd feed timothy hay instead of alfalfa.

    Alyssa's Bunny Blog!

I was going to film today but I'm starting to lose my voice. Probably because I spend too much time yelling at Bugs to stop eating stuff he shouldn't be eating. Also, Evie really needs to stop sitting with her head to the side. It freaks me out every time even though I know she's just watching Bugs.
