    New bunny advice please

She weighs 900g but feels very bony- more so than our Rex but not sure if that’s the breed or she hasn’t been looked after properly. She’s still very young, maybe 13/14 weeks as the people we adopted her from only had a short time before they decided they didn’t want her anymore - she’s so sweet...

    New bunny advice please

Thank you! Yes, just the tips of her ears, okay - great. Didn’t want to switch but wasn’t sure if it was bad for them to get their ears wet. Thanks so much

    New bunny advice please

Hi, We adopted a new bunny today and she’s gorgeous but she’s a lop and I’m a bit clueless. (We have a Rex) Every time she drinks her ears get wet but I’m reluctant to use a bottle- which is better bowl and wet ears or bottle and dry ears? Is it something she’ll learn (she had a bottle before)...

    Free Roam/ stairs?

Thank you. We have wooden floors everywhere and bannisters the whole way up so maybe best to get the grids although I guess they could jump over them if they wanted to? Hmm. Maybe a gate? Thanks for your help

    Happy in their hutches?

We’re the same, I let mine out in the garden for a bit but can’t leave him outside because of foxes. A friend of mine lost her two bunnies this week to foxes and her cage looked so strong and had so many extra grills up

    Free Roam/ stairs?

Hi, Our rabbit free roams downstairs but when we go out I shut him in one room. I’m now worried he’ll fall down the stairs/ jump through the bannisters. He’s never shown any interest in the stairs until today - should I block them with a gate or similar? Thank you

    New bunny

Hi, We want to get a new bunny to hopefully bond with our neutered boy. We’ve been offered a baby doe (3 months) but don’t know how to bond them (we haven’t said yes yet but very tempted). Will they need to be kept apart until she’s fixed? Thanks for any advice

    Bald patches

Hi all, Our rabbit stayed at a friend’s whilst we were away for ten days. They didn’t brush him which was fine but the room he was in was quite warm and now he’s molting loads. We’ve groomed him and lots of fur is coming out but also there are some bald patches.. is this okay? They seem to be...

    Taking rabbits out in public

Do you mind me asking what harness you have? Mine definitely knows he has it on! Maybe it’s the wrong harness or maybe it’s him

    Taking rabbits out in public

I’ve been trying to get our Rex used to the harness. I put it on indoors for about 5-10 minutes at a time about once a day when the house is calm. He’s definitely not a fan yet but I’m hoping he’ll get there

    Flooring, Bedding and Digging

He seems really well toilet trained already, I know it could change but he tends to go in (or around!) the litter tray downstairs. It is an outdoor hutch but I thought it would be okay indoors and now it’s but late I might try and cut some Lino to size and put it over the top and see what...

    Flooring, Bedding and Digging

We have the same but he won’t leave it alone, constantly chewing at it. Not much comes up but a bit does and I’m worried that he’ll ingest it. Thank you though

    Flooring, Bedding and Digging

Okay, great. It feels strange having nothing all over the hutch as it has a zinc base so it will be quite slippery. He’s not fully trained but does always seem to go in or around his litter box- fingers crossed he’ll stay like that. Will remove the recycled paper pellets tomorrow (apart from in...
