Wooly-Pod Milkweed Poisoning

Is this a common risk? I've read everywhere thatit is found in hay, and that owners should inspect the hay beforefeeding it to rabbits. Does this include hay found in pet stores? Or'wild' hay bought in large bales?

I buy the large bags of the Kaytee Timothy Hay from Petsmart for myrabbit, and was making sure that this isn't something I should look forin store bought hay...

I don't know how common it is in store-bought hay, generally I think that's pretty safe.

One member here lost a young rabbit due to milkweed poisoning fromfield grown hay, and only lives an hour from where I am. I buypre-bagged hay (Oxbow) for that reason.
