Does anyone else love wife swap like i do?

I think its really great I like watching the arguments LOL and I think it helps the families learn how others handle their children and family issues!

Anyone else watch/like it?

I love it! Although I hate the american version. It drives me insane... its so over the top, like lots of american reality shows. If its the US version I usually switch it off at the opening credits, I can't stand the irritating man shouting at me THEY SWAP FAMILIES....... FOR ONE WEEK..... Drives me up the wall!

I have a thing for all 3 of them actually. Combined they would be the perfect man. Hammonds looks, Jeremys humour and Captain Slow's pure geekness!

I have a story about Jeremy Clarkson- he's a super nice guy!

My second cousin used to be a live-in nanny, and she lived with his family, taking care of his kids, for quite a few years. (She walked on stage with them on his 'This Is Your Life' episode years ago) When she moved on, she went to another family that Jeremy and his wife reccomended her to, and had just had a baby- I think it was 6 weeks old or something....

Anyway- she (or another friend/relative, I can't remember now) saw the grandfather playing with the baby and accidentally nearly drop her- he sort of caught her halfway down, just in time, but she had quite a jolt. A few days, or some time later, the baby fell extremely ill and was rushed to hospital, having had.... a brain hemorrhage (I think- I'm not sure of the exact details). The doctors at the hospital said that this was consistent with shaken baby syndrome, everybody jumped to conclusions, and my cousin, and the parents were arrested on suspicion of child abuse. Now, there is NO WAY that my cousin would ever harm anybody- she's just too nice.

Once Jeremy Clarkson heard about this, he paid all her legal costs... The charges were eventually dropped as there was no evidence against her luckily, but he did everything he could to help her...

So he's a nice guy in my books :)

Oh, and some of that may be a little inconsistent with the truth- it was a loooong time ago now I think and I can't remember all the details, but that's the general story :)

He strikes me as a nice guy...

Not like Billie Piper, who, when I was only 8 years old, told me to p*ss off when I asked for her autograph at the queue at Madame Tussauds....

I love the UK Wife Swap! I agree that the US one is very obnoxious, why do the announcers always shout on American TV shows? :?

I miss Top Gear :(, they haven't played new episodes here for, gosh, must be more than a year now . I'm always scouring youtube for new episodes. I can't believe anyone would find Hamster attractive though, haha! Since he had that terrible accident he's had the strangest hairstyles.

Did you guys watch it tonight? Ha ha ha - I love it the Alfa Romeo one.:biggrin2:How funny were James Cordon and Rob Brydon as well?:D(That's another quality show - Gavin and Stacey!:D)

Ya'll know I date a guy from Australia now, and he says we're all loud..so it's not just an American announcer thing...

So my family, the one that raised me, is all cajun French, and iffn ya dont know what that is, we are a bunch of loud talkin drunkards..

We all have to out talk each other...

I have yet to bring him around my family when they are all together..

Hence why I think we're gonna elope..

For example.. here is a song popular amoung the men in my family...

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-Q5Z5Jd5Tg]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-Q5Z5Jd5Tg[/ame]

The running joke is.. since I am Irish.. raised by the French... I can get drunk and surrender to myself..

I think it's a combo of the loud, the drunk, the frog giggin, the horseshoe tossin..

He really is a very quiet man...he once wrote me an email, and it said *shutup sometime, you talk enough for you, me, and 3 other people*

Man you guys have gone OT on this topic, lol!

Yep, love Wife Swap, but I like Trading Spouses better as CMT shows it 2 hours long. I think Wife Swap should be as long, especially since they're there for two weeks:?.

I just noticed today that Lifetime will air two episodes next Tuesday, whoohoo! It's funny, one is a woman with 25 animals and not tidytrading with a woman who dislikes animals and is very tidy, haha.
