I was sitting at my desk, watching a movie and working on a book that I’m writing, when Apollo thumped. I looked at him, then I went quiet to see if there was a noise he heard. There wasn’t. Then he did it again. I paused my movie, thinking maybe that’s it, and then sat on the floor near him. He thumped, ran away, then thumped again, and ran under my desk. I moved away from the desk and then he carried on with his day, and went to his hay box to eat.

I can’t think of a reason that he’d thump. It’s just me and my mum in the house right now, and mums being quiet doing work on her laptop, downstairs. I know that rabbits have great hearing and could’ve heard something outside but I don’t know what.

He did a similar thing last night. He thumped really REALLY loudly, at like 2:30am.

Is he mad at me for something? He has thumped before but it didn’t seem as loud.

I think Apollo just heard something which you didn’t hear. Sometimes it happens like Odin will start thumping when he see water or when he get unhappy.

When you manage to find the cause for the thumping you will understand better :)
