Vicky's spay is scheduled for Oct 10th, andafter her recoop is finished I plan on finishing the bonding processbetween her and Freddy. They already do great together. There has notbeen one spat between them ever. They already play together, snuggletogether and will share the same food with no problem. They jump in andout of togethers cages w/o getting mad about it and they groom eachother. and Freddy apparently has no interest in baby making withher. So I think once they are able to be together it will bejust fine. They really seem to love eachother.

My question is tho, at what point is it safe to have them housedtogether? and how do you know? They may do well and all under mysupervision, buts its impossible to watch them 24/7 and I would behorrified to wake up toor come home to a post battle.

Do a trial run while you're there. Put them inthe same cage and close it off. Do this several times over a few days(or a week). If they're doing well, try leaving them overnight, but besure to be nearby so you can hear any fighting and be able to wake upand break it up. I really doubt there'll be any problem since they seemto get along great already, though. These are just some precautionarymeasures. Good luck with it.

Well, make sure she's healed from her spayfirst. It sounds like they aren't territorial about theircages, so decide which one they will be in and make sure it's bigenough that they can get away from each other a bit. Put themin together during a day when you will be home the wholetime. That way you'll be able to pull them apart if a spatstarts. If they seem okay, no stress or anything, then youcan leave them together. If they seem nervous or get snippywith each other, give them a few supervised sessions in the cagetogether first before leaving them together.
