Hi Everyone!!
I’m so excited to finally say after 4 long months of separation and bonding dates, my two buns have FINALLY figured it out and have been living together in a pen for the past 4 days. I have not had to separate them, there has been no fighting, nipping, or aggression. On Friday night, they were chasing and trying to mount, but that subsided as of saturday morning. It has now been two days without any chasing or mounting. They have been cuddling together 24/7, mutually grooming, flopping together, and sharing litter boxes. I’ve even left them unsupervised for a couple hours. I have a couple questions from here, one being: when can I officially call them bonded? How long should they be together without conflict before calling them bonded? And lastly, How long should I wait before free roaming them in my room together? I don’t want anything to come between their bond I’m truly grateful to everyone who has responded to my threads on bonding and anyone who has helped!
