There's a family-owned pet store in my area that sells rabbits. I've spoken with a long-time employee about the need for hay which is never provided. He was stubborn and said the pellets have hay. Another time he said they sell the rabbits too quickly so they don't need hay. :?--the manager and employees were really wonderful and asked me several things about their bunnies and immediately made the changes I suggested while I was still there in the store. They were an exceptional group of animal lovers, but definitely an exception to most pet stores.
