Whats your opinion on pet stores?

There's a family-owned pet store in my area that sells rabbits. I've spoken with a long-time employee about the need for hay which is never provided. He was stubborn and said the pellets have hay. Another time he said they sell the rabbits too quickly so they don't need hay. :?

I tried again with another employee and he went right away and put some hay in the enclosure. I guess when I started rambling about GI stasis, etc, he figured I knew what I was talking about.:wink
