well i had Ryo out on the couch. she doesnt havea litter box up there and she never pottys up there. she waits till iput her down and she will do her busniess. well last ngiht she peed onthe couch. and this morning i noticed she did a tiny little pee spotbeside her litter box. perhaps this is the begining on a urinaryinfection??? or is she sorta marking her territory becuase a freindbrought her puppy (raise with rabbits) over and she was playing withRyo (Ryo acted like she injoyed the puppies companionship)

i have noticed a few little scattered droppings around, so maybe its territorial?

It may be territorial. I would keep aclose eye on her though. Watch to see if she spends more timein the litter box or appears to be straining. Also monitorher water intake.

My rabbit is at the animal hospital now with a urinary tract problem.

yeah i am watching her. she hasnt been in thelitter box more than usual as of now. i have her drinkingfrom a crock so its hard to monitor her water intake. sorry to hearabout your bun. i wonder what causes urinary tract infections? isnt itcalcium related?

Calcium is usually a factor, but some buns arejust prone to UTIs. She's on the same diet as my other threeand they've never had a problem.

I'm going to flavor her water to ensure she drinks a lot. That's another concern.

Sounds like it could have been territorial. Eventhough she has been spayed, she might want to tell everyone that thecouch is hers, not the dog's:)

One thing that might help: Maisie peeson anything that's fabric. Blankets, the couch, etc. (which, when it was recognized, we made sure she didn't have anything like thatin her environment). It might be just a tendancy to dothat.

not thats not it. thanks anyway. she has apillow in her cage that is just for her. and she sets on the couch alotwith us, she has never peeed on anything fabric before utnil then
