So I finally managed to track down some papayas and I have been going on a dehydrating frenzy. In the past few days our poor dehydrator has been going non-stop with banana chips, papaya slices, apple chips and even dehydrated carrots, just to see what happens.

So I wanted to know what else dehydrates well? We do also get freeze dried fruit for our guys (Pineapple, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, apple) and they love that so I'm not too worried on the fruit front, we have a stockpile of sugary snacks that should last a while since they don't eat much at a time, so what kind of veggies could we do?

We have this mix of dehydrated dandelion, cilantro and parsley from The Blue-Eyed Bunny and I am thinking I would try making that too, what other veggies would do well?

I usually just do the summer classics at our house. Strawberry, Apple and Banana.
Have done sweet potatoe - for the dogs.
Zuchini and other veggies have been done for the humans.
Next on my list is trying meat products, like liver for dog treats. I Imagine drying herbs would work.. I should strip my sage plant outside and dry the leaves before it dies...

One can dehydrate almost anything! Just remember when giving it to your bunnies, give them smaller amounts as the sugar content becomes more concentrated.
