What makes urine change colors?

Corky has been peein REAL reddish/orange thelast couple days...nothings changed, still on the same meds he wason..don't think its them as its just started and he's been on them overa week. He's doing fine and I know their urine can changecolors, but what causes it?

I've heard that carrots make them pee more orange. This seems to hold true for Mocha.

Hmm..he's been off the carrot/pellet mush mixfor days now...and hasn't had hardly any carrots...so in this case Iwouldn't think thats it....interesting on that tho.

I'm wondering the same thing! Jetta's urine onher box(she has been peeing on her house since the new bun) was abrownish orange. Could it be from the apricots? Or Hay? Or is somethingwrong?
