With covid still being stressful and scary I thought it would be a good idea to start a little thread where we talk about what we love about our rabbits. You can share whatever you want, little facts, stories, pictures, etc etc.

I'll start.

What I love about Mab is how good she is, and how sweet she is. She's just a ball of light in the form of a rabbit and I'm so thankful for that. She has no problems when I check her stomach to see if she's having digestive problems, she let's me look at her teeth, she doesn't bite or nip. She gives me sweet little nudges, and runs around my feet. She likes to just be near me, and trusts me to walk around or behind her when she's flopped over... I am so glad she trusts me and feels safe with me, and I love how she puts her little face under my hand to tell me she wants to be pet. Anyway, she's the best and I love her so much.

I'd love to hear about your bun's if you'd like to share.

Good idea @elentari! And thank you! I love my two rabbits Lincoln & Lucina! They both make me so happy. When I walk into my room & they are flopped or binkying in their cage I just love it! Lincoln has this glorious lionhead main of his & he knows that he is beautiful! 😂
Lucina is shy but she is so loving. When I pick her up to give her her medication (1 week left!) I wrap her up in a towel and she loves it! They both crack me up when the dart around the room! I am so glad to have them in my life! :)4FD7DB6F-F9F7-40E6-988D-24D3A329BA4A.jpegDF19F41A-E7B2-4676-9F4D-1A5F0665A99F.jpeg

They're so cute!! I hope Lucina starts to feel better!

I love how cuddly my buck is, he could sleep next to me for ages😍 I haven’t had my doe long but i love how willing she is to try and be relaxed near me, she’s been passed around lots of homes where she hasn’t got any attention. She has only just started running up to me and wanting slight attention☺️ The doe also had babies which i adore! I will struggle selling them or i may have to keep them😂

This is gonna be my new favorite thread! I joined this forum to tell the world how wonderful my bunnies are!

I love my little Willa so much! She's one of those bunnies with quite the attitude and is a total brat in the best possible way. She loves to be petted on her terms and will climb all over me for treats. Willa knows exactly what she wants and will settle for nothing less. She fears practically nothing and actually enjoys going on car rides, where she gets to sit "shotgun" and go into stores. I've taken her to the beach for leash walks and she loves climbing driftwood. Her binkies are hilarious, she tucks her little butt under and scuttled around the room her in what I call "the happy shrimp dance." She is such an amazing companion who makes me laugh everyday!

Foxwell is the sweetest rabbit I've ever met ( to everything but cats, he openly despises cats, which is hilarious). He adores being petted at all times and is so genuinely curious about everything, even if it makes him nervous. He can also claim the title of the fastest and most acrobatic living rabbit. I've seen him climb up on things that it never occurred to me a rabbit could climb up on, and run so fast I lose track of him. I'm certain he's showing off. It doesn't hurt that he is just so handsome and leggy, bouncing around with joy.

Perhaps most importantly, he and Willa are best friends. I barely even mind that they have taught each other all of their bad habits, I love watching them get into mischief together!

I love my sweet Bambi girl because she's just a character... She always knows what to do to make me feel better. If I want to cuddle, she'll happily lay on her back in my lap and get her face and belly petted. If I'm feeling down she'll give me kisses or do a cute trick (she LOVES to carry things around - her toys, her leash, etc, she'll grab and them and carry them over to me). And when I'm feeling adventurous, she comes on adventures with me - not recently because of COVID and RHDV2 but she would walk on a leash and come to the bookstore and pet store with me and she'd just be having a grand old time... she'd even carry the leash in her mouth when we went on walks like that. She's just such a gem. And not only that, she is really good show quality (she is grand championed and won a reserve in a show), and was such an excellent mom, I have 4 babies out of her that are just over 6 months old (she had 6 babies total but one of them went to California to a show home and one of them is living as a pet in Arizona)

I think you might have one of the coolest rabbits out there! What an incredible, multi-talented little lady. She sounds like the Miss Universe of the rabbit world!

When we first got Cosmo, he was a biting little monster--re-homed a few times and was on "death row" in Northern Calif because of his bad behavior. We stopped that in the first 2 days and he's become very user friendly and wants attention now and is very affectionate and friendly.

Nancy, I've been in your shoes re: bitey, onery "death row" companions who transformed into gentle hugglers & groomers.

What I love with my scaredy-cat Toste is that he have devlop to become a courage little bunbun, that even though he feel cornered and scared he will still slowly go forward and explore. He's easily startled and I scare him nearly every day, so he often start to stomp but when he hear me call his name he stops and will slowly run towards me. I nearly got him for free because he was an aggressive bunny; I just payed a symbolic sum. He follow me around the house and let me cuddle with him, he's an escape master and have run away a few times.

While what can I say about Odin, you can just grab him and he will let you cuddle with him, he loves people and he warm up really fast and will start to kiss people. If a guest ignores him he will try to climb up onto their laps and beg for treats. If I feel down he will snuggle up on my chest and let me pet him, he always binky everyday and do funny flops.

Both my bunnies love food and love cuddles, that's what they like and I often have one bunny up on the couch when I watch movies. They totally fit me that loves watching movies.

They sound like the have os much personality! It's amazing you're able to take Willa out with a leash and she likes car rides.

Good for Toste getting his courage! Hopefully he stops escaping.
Odin sounds so friendly and sweet!

Trixie is a vocal bunny and the sounds that come from her are just too funny. When she is extremely relaxed, she will lay in one of her favorite corners and start making a "oinking/honking" noise, a sign of contentment if you will. She does it for a few seconds where I can get it on video and then she stops, licks the carpet (yes she's an odd one) and flops over.

I also love how excited she gets when I go to a box that I've made with all her stuff in it. Toys, pellets, chews, treats, etc. When she sees me walking towards it, she will start up her honks and run around in circles around me like a dog. Then she'll put her paw on me to let me know that she's ready for a treat.

Adorable!

I've had Precious for almost three years now. She's a dwarf mix rescue. She is probably one of the smartest bunnies I've encountered (had ten other bunnies total throughout my life) along with one of the sweetest. She LOVES attention. It's just me and my husband so she gets plenty of it. She puts herself to bed every night, does the "litterbox dance" in her litterbox and shakes her head in the morning because she's so excited to see me and be released out of her cage after being petted and fed. My husband adores her and even trained her to come running for some petting by either calling her or making a silly gesture. She's assertive too--will thump and stare at you if you don't let her out of her cage when she wants.

Somehow, she understands a certain guinea pig squeak means there is banana to be eaten and she will come running and standing for that as well. She's soooo trusting; she will allow me to pick her up without a struggle, will sit quietly in my lap and let me groom her or trim her nails, and she just seems to trust me to do anything I need to with her. I could not imagine my life without a bunny in it and she keeps me company on my many days home alone.
