You can try making your own hutches. Building diagrams are easy to come by. Here's one. You can probably search for better ones too.

My experience is that it isn't cost effective to build your own unless you're going to biuld a couple cages instead of just one though.
This is the cheapest I've seen pre made hutches go for....
