@lelanatty;
THANK YOU! Is 3 months and 4 months a huge difference?
Kind of. 3 months is still the baby stage, but by 4 months they seem to start growing at a more steady rate.

Okay, based on the newest pictures, the fur is not Rex. The tan on the neck behind the ears reminds of of Otter coloring while the rest of the color looks Opal or a light Chinchilla coloring without the darker highlights. Since your in the East Bay, you might want to talk to someone from House Rabbit Society as they are headquartered in Richmond.

Rex fur is recessive, so bred to normal fur, most of the babies will be normal furred (unless the normal furred rabbit carries rex).

Also, opal does have tan behind the ears.:)

hey Lynn one of these days if u ever get a chance..u need to feel a rex's fur.....its fantabulous!..its like nothing uve ever felt before...i always thought well sure its prob soft right?/..no its beyond soft its almost unreal feeling...

@Yield:
WOW. Solara is so cute! She really does look like Romeo (I named him, at last!).

@Oakridge Rabbits:
Oh I see. That makes sense because I think he's a little of a lot of stuff. I think he's a lighter version of the Opal coloring. His rump is a little darker but not by much. His breast fur is longer than the rest of his body and tan.

@lelanatty:
Ohhhhh. That's good because I'm afraid he'll get wayyy big.

@Nancy McClelland:
Yeah, I've been there but I didn't have my rabbit yet. I don't think it matters too much, as long as he doesn't get too humongous.

@Flash Gordon:
Woooowwww. D: I've met a rex before, and she was gorgeous! But she didn't want to be touched. She was sleeping ! This was actually at HRS in Richmond lol.
