i know that why i suggested a mix but how old is this little guy ( sorry it took me awhile btw >.<) if he isnt fully grown i would say he a broken havana rabbit but if he is than a polish or dwarf mix . i had a female dwarf mix named shouka ( who sadly passed away), I also have a black Havana rabbit who is 6 years old ( his body structure is similiar to her's when she was younger she's a older bun now 6 years i had her) and i have a poilsh rabbit ( or a false dwarf either one of those)
I'd try a new scale. I'd be very, very, very surprised if that rabbit was 2 lbs. That's smaller than your average netherland dwarf.
Your rabbit looks like a mixed breed. Appearance-wise it looks closest to a broken havana but most rabbits tend towards that sort of build and ear shape after a couple generations of crossing.
I agree to me this looks like a broken havana (very late reply >_<). Possibly mismarked ( which means the markings are off), A mixed breed is just as likely, as this could be a young rabbit my rabbit was about 2.5 lbs when i first got her as she was 3 months old she has grown to about 5.1 lbs sinces and is 6 years old currently
