1.) Earn a BIS with a homebred Netherland Dwarf or Flemish Giant. Ive never came 1st so this is gonna be a hard one. came 3rd on a dwarf thats about it.
2.) Get better about culling out bucks. We keep far too many bucks- more than I like to have.

3.) Move in with my friend who will own half of the rabbitry, and built a new barn/shed for the rabbits. Hopfully mum will allow this, Im known to get into trouble and im working on that so I can compete this step.

4.) Upgrade to20 holes forNethies and10 for Flemsih Giants. Have upgraded to 35 Netherland dwarfs before, but rabbitry went down hill when the calicivirus came back. We lost 25 rabbits over those 2 months:(

5.) Indruduce the Jersy Woolys into my barn, currently no one in Dunedin has this breed but Im breeding with another breeder to produce this breed

6.)Have more show buns in my barn by the end of the year, atless 5 NetherlandDwarfs, 3 Flemish, 2 Jersys

8.) Win BOB or BOV at convention.

10.) Breed the English Spots for show jumping!

short term goals, still working on the long terms!!

1. Get my new barn built and get the buns into it! LOL. They should be moving over to the new barn during my 4th of July shut down.

2. Bring my blue dutch back around to blue-they are rusted. Not sure how i'm going to do this but I'm still researching this one. I was suggested to shave them :? Not so sure about that.

3. Get me a pair of the Chinchilla dutch and a nice steel dutch buck.

~Go to shows to fix this problem.

4. Continue to work on my V-Lop project. Still working at bringing in other bloodlines to mix with what I have. Again I have to go to shows and just keep asking around. I emailed two people that were within 3 hours drive from me, but neither got back to me on this.

5. Get my horse fence up around the barn- barns in the center of hte pasture, since I just got a possibly bred mare to go with my mare and gelding. This is an on going summer project that has to be done by October. Just need to work more hours at work(If only it doesn't kill me to do so- 12 hour nights with packagingfrozen hot pockets with a bunch of idiotsisn't exactly easy and highly stressful-thank god for the low blood pressure!)

6. Get my name out there as a Dutch and Velveteen Lop breeder! I'm known around the area & workas a go-to bunny person already. I've been to several shows already and talked to the competition (so to speak) and we are far and few between but my guys have the type, now to work on markings better(Thus breeding out for the best markings). A BOB would be heavenly! I've gotten a Leg on my homebred gray buck now just to finish him out.

That's the short terms, long terms are still in the thought process.

What are your goals? Are you selling to the pet market? Do you want to be a top exhibitor in the nation? How much are you willing to spend on new breeding stock? What is your favorite breed out of the ones you have and which variety would you like to focus on?

Goals
*Win BIS with a tan, preferably one of my babies
*Win BIS with my Britannia Petite
*Make my herd better
I am. Tans are awesome rabbits to have as pets.

I would like to have a small herd that could win BIS at every show and produce just as awesome babies

I have my breeding stock for now. Some nice lines and we'll see what we get out of the parents

Tans are my favorite and I would love to focus more on chocolates.
