Hi there,

I joined this board a while back and kind of forgot it was here.

Anyway a little over 2 years ago around Christmas one of my co-workers caught a bun out in his front yard. Lucky him it was prego and he soon had 5-6 more on his hands. My girlfriend always wanted a bunny so I figured I could at least give one of the little guys a good home.

We have no idea what she is and have been trying to figure it out . Is she maybe a mutt? Here's a pic. Anyone have an idea?

I am no good at this but her body looks lionhead but she has no mane??
How confusing - I might leave this up to a professional!
:?
LOL
She is gorgeous though

I'm no expert, but my guess would be that she is a mix of some sort. I'm thinking that she's possibly a netherland dwarf or polish mixed with lionhead of jersey wooly. But, trust me, I'm probably way off. He he!

I'm sure someone else will come along and give you more information ;). But, nevertheless, she's a cutie!

I would guess jersey wooly/netherland dwarf mix. The coat looks like a jw, and the ears make me think netherland. If Pamnock comes on here, she will know. Pam always knows. :D

She is beautiful!! When I first saw I immediatley thought: Jersey Wooly, so that is what I think she is.

Jersey Wooly. I can't tell the exact color from the photo (a marten of some sort) - maybe seal marten.

The wooled gene is recessive, so a Netherland Dwarf x Jersey Wooly first generation cross wouldn't be wooled. Jersey Woolies are dwarfs, so their heads, ears are similar to Netherland Dwarfs.
