Wet Bum

Ok, so yesterday I noticed Dori's bum was wet. And I"m not sure if this is a bad sign of some sort. Ever since her accident this past weekend, she's been hanging out A LOT inside her litter box. Like she's been laying in there. I think this may be the reason her bum is wet (I change her litter box daily though). But I'm wondering, would this be the sign of something else?

Oh she had a scary accident with a slinky, I posted about earlier this week, I think the thread is titled VERY Scary Accident!

Is she hopping around ok? No limping or anything. Poops and pee is ok? Eating ok?

How often is her bum wet? Was it just one time or is it constant and happening all the time?

Yea besides the wet bum all else is normal. She is jumping, playing, eating, peeing and pooping like normal. I noticed the wet bum night before yesterday, and a little bit again last night. I'm thinking maybe she's just spending too much time in her litterbox?

Mabey her water bottels leaking she may have sat in something. Is it pee on her butt or what is it?

Possibly.. keep an eye on it though. My Misty has only peed on herself when she is in pain and doesn't feel like moving. How does her nail look? That's why I was asking about her hopping - to see if she might have hurt her leg as well.

I'm going to move this to the infirmary to see if anyone there has any other advice or ideas.

Thank you . Her nail is actually fine, I looked at it yesterday and there is no infections or sign of soreness. I did notice that for the first time since she's been home with us, almost 2 months now, she peed outside her litter box on her blankie. So I was kind of confused with that one since she's never done that before. I am going to try and add more hay to her litter box to see if that helps with the wetness.
