I've noticed this for a while but in the last few days it's gotten maybe a bit worse-Ripley bottom tends to be really wet. Yellow and wet and stinky..seemingly all the time. His cage is just wire (as he messes on anything else) and then he has an upside-down plastic igloo he sits in full of hay. It doesn't look like he's peeds in it so I don't see how he's getting himself so icky down there. Any ideas of why this would keep happening with him or should I just worry about keeping him cleaned off?

Until lately every rabbit i had seen up close was housed in a wire cage. I was told by the breeder that urine coats the wire and kinda drips off leaving time to soak into the fur and a solid bottom with something absorbing is best. I put a fleece blanket in mine have to wash it every other day but my white rabbit has a white butt!

It just hit me fleece pulls the moisture down to the bottom i have mine doubled ... one of those sham wow towels would probably be awesome for this!

hmmm never thought of that with the wire getting him wet. That might be it, I'll have to keep an eye out and watch closer to see if that looks like the case. I was so worried there maybe was a UTI or something..I hope this is the reason :)
