Welcoming Home Baby Bunny!!!

My birthday is next Monday, and I have decided I would like to welcome a Lionhead baby to the family. There's a local breeder (well, two hours away) who breeds his to have an extremely docile temperament. This is important because I really want to certify him/her as a therapy rabbit.

This thread is to follow the arrival of the new baby bunny: the before, during and after. I have an idea for a name, but after I post pictures of the new baby, I'd love to have other suggestions as well. I hope to have at least one other person as excited as I am to share this with LOL.

I'm hoping to go this Sunday. I need to call the breeder when he gets off of work in two hours so I can see if he's available that day. My boss already said I could have a vacation day that day (love working for a pet store for things like this lol).

Got his/her cage set up. I'm pretty sure if I get a female, I'm going to name her Simone. I'm going to keep an open mind on color and gender when I get there. I want to get the bunny that is the best fit for me personality-wise, regardless of color or gender.

I'm going to need to contact the breeder again and see if I can go a couple hours sooner. Just found out none of my family is going to be home to celebrate my birthday on my actual birthday because of work... Same here, I'll be working 8-6:30 that day. Oh, the joys of adulthood... And I'm not even getting paid because I'm interning for school. I wish I could be home with the new bunny for a couple of days after I get him/her. Might be best to let him/her settle in anyway.

Ugh.. Our internet went down last Thursday and just came back on today. I got a little girl. She is solid black, almost 6 months old, and her name is Simone Alexandria. I just have a few pics so far.
