That might have been a cecal rather than poop that you found.

I'm not sure what you mean about a blanket or litter keeping the bum from getting dirty. Some rabbits like blankets to snuggle with, others to chew up, but they shouldn't be encouraged to use them as litter boxes.

Well like Lisa (agnesthelion) said her fur is getting messy with the carefresh bedding that we are currently using so we want to take all of the carefresh out and use blankets as bedding so her fur wont get messy. She'll still have a litter box. She definitely wont be encouraged to use the blankets for her litter box...

Lupa finally let me get to her bum to clean it up though :D She let me hold her and snip out all of the poopy bits and she didn't squirm at all so she's as clean as I could get her now

Hi Lupa! She's a cutie, and I hope her litter training goes well. My bunny misses or leaves behind a wet poo now and then..I think she loses track occasionally, because it's only happened twice since I got her 3 weeks ago and she's still a baby. Other than that and the dry poo here and there (usually overnight, or if someone comes over, haha) she's got litter training down :) They're really smart!
