Hi, I was cutting my rabbits nails today and checked his teeth while I was at it and I noticed one of his front teeth was a different color than the others and seems like he may have broken it a bit. He hasn’t been acting weird, he’s eating perfectly fine, there’s no face swelling etc. I just happened to catch it. It’s just the one tooth that I can see and at the base his gum seems irritated. I was just wondering if it was cause for concern and if I should take him to the vet soon. Let me know your thoughts!

It does look like there's a problem with those incisors. Unfortunately there's no way to tell if there's something more serious going on under the surface that could account for the discolored tooth and misalignment, without having a vet do an examination and xrays. From how the teeth look, it's possible your rabbit damaged and fractured the incisor somehow. The primary thing that I would be concerned about, is that the discolored tooth is a sign there's an infection below the surface. So if you have any concerns this might be the case, it's best to have your rabbit examined by a knowledgeable rabbit vet right away.
