weight question

Ok, I don't have a scale to weigh my bunnies,but they all look like they are average weight. I was wondering howmuch a normal mini rex weighs and a little dutch weighs. The dutchisn't as big as the mini rex. I also was wondering how much the other 3might weigh, but the are mixes. They are a little bigger than the minirex, but not by much.

I plan on getting a scale, but until then I was wondering how much they might weigh.

A pure-bred dutch should weight anywhere from 31/2 pounds to 5 1/2 pounds. A mini rex should be about 4pounds. A standard rex weighs about 6-8 pounds.

Maybe some of the breeders might have a better idea of average weights for different breeds.

I have two dutch boys and both weigh around 4.5 pounds (but I think they're a bit on the chubby side )

My mini rex is from a breeder. She was "trash"since she is too big to be bred and have good kits. I don't care, sheisn't going to be bred with me and the only problem I have is she keepsfighting with one of the new 3. I think its about who is boss since itstarts and then they are fine with each other and then after a whilethey start up again. It's kinda funny cause one of the new ones comesover like "hey you two cut it out" and the other of the new ones runsand hides like "I don't want any part of this!!"

Just be very careful because one rabbit can injure or kill another ifthey're introduced. Your bunnies sound adorable though..doyou have any pictures?

I've read the bonding and I'm always right thereincase anything goes wrong. I posted one of Clover and one of Hazel onthe Hi I am new thread I posted. I don't have pics of the other 3 yet.In the pic Hazel is still little, he is about twice that size now and aBIG baby. I hold him on his back like a baby and he goes to sleep.

Our two dwarf bunnies had their first well visit in July. Turbo (male) weights 3.5lbs and Tina (female) weighs 2.5lbs

Okay, just wanted to make sure . When I brought home my second bun, Ihad no clue about any of that. When one first tried to bite the other,I started reading up..and im so glad I did!
