Happy Halloween!!!


It was a busy night last night.
Didn't get around to the pumpkin carving....I'll do that when I get home. Gotta roast up the pumpkin seeds, too!
Did all the bunnie room clean-up so I won't have that to do while the trick-or-treaters are around.

I can't wait to go home!!

Your favorite Holiday - and such a special day for the world with it being your B-Day (that's BIRTH-DAY not BUN-DAY)

Ordered a movie called "The Changeling" with George C. Scott. Have never seen it before, but many have told me it's RRRREALLY Scary! I can't wait to see it. Also have ordered "The Fog" - John Carpenter's version - as they say that one's scary too.

Loving the shows on t.v. this time of year.

Had a quiet night at home, sipped some pumpkin ale, meatloaf and mashed taters for dinner ....yummmm, and a big birthday cookie for desert!

I missed "The Great Pumpkin" last night!!!:cry1:
I was watching the Beatles movie "Help", and forgot to change channels!! Oh well.

LOL! Jim you crack me up! I'll have that song in my head for weeks now! I'll also have to rent Beetlejuice!

Lexi carved her pumpkin last night and this is the first Halloween I can remember since I have had children that I was home! Luke is in bed - I think he's getting what I have - and Lexi's friend picked her up for the evening. Trick or Treating and visiting relatives - she's happy just to dress up LOL!

I am doing laundry, hoping for at least a trick or treater or two - in the country it's not often you get them. I always leave a light, a bowl and a pumpkin for those who might stop.

Carolyn, I saw The Fog some years back, and I remember it being creepy :shock:.
Nothing really scarey on TV here tonight - we NEED to get more 'with it' for Halloween in the UK.

Something strange happened at work today though. I managed to 'lose' the recorded message on the phone, and while trying to find it, the phone made a weird sound, like a moan or groan :shock:. It was so loud that the girl I work with and I just looked at each other, then fell about laughing. The really strange thing is - the moan and us laughing has recorded on the phone message :scared:

Now were stuck with allllll of this extra candy.

All in all it was a good night.
Sippin' on some pumpkin ale and munchin' on some raosted pumpkin seeds...mmmmm.

I'm kind of disappointed. We usually get LOTS of kids, but we hardly got any.
The pumpkins are still lit and I'm goning to put some candy out for the late-comers.

I love your nightmare before Christmas pumpkin!! He's really cute!

We had ZERO trick or treaters Breaks my heart!

I watched Ghost Hunters until 2 and i had a headache because our stupid Cable system had issues with SciFi last night and we kept getting this loud buzzing during high white screens. When they showed the level they were going to be on (map of the building) it sounded like jets were going to hit our house.

I took all the video equipment apart and hooked cable directly to the set and nothing changed....

Then I phoned the cable company and they told me. :X

I said "You know, I know you have the ability to put a ticker on the screen to let us know this was an issue...... " Ugh!

I think I'm going to make a pumpkin pie today. Yum! and Clover needs the pumpkin so I can give her a little nibble!
