just out of curiosity, about how long does 25lbs of hay last?

Hmm I think last year when I ordered 30 lbs from them it lasted about 3 months for 6 bunnies. I think thats right..

Jeepers! Shipping for 35 pounds of hay will be $42! I want to get the half 2nd cut timothy and half bluegrass, which is $17. I find it sad that it will STILL be slightly cheaper to spend $60 on this hay than it would be if I just kept buying hay from in town for $3.50 per pound.

Yikes that is pretty bad! But if its cheaper than what youre getting now than its probably worth it. And if you only have two bunnies that should last you 6 months at the very least (probably more like 9 months if Im remembering how fast we used ours up last time).

Okay, I have a dumb question... the pellets they sell are just for guinea pigs, right? I'd really like to buy rabbit timothy pellets from them! If I buy 35 pounds of hay from them, it will work out to $1.68 a pound and I'll save just over $45 by not purchasing it locally! And I plan to donate 10 pounds or so to the animal shelter. Yippee, I am unreasonably excited about my big box of hay arriving!
