The babies are five weeks old, I was just out cleaning up some cages and stuff and I moved Princess and the babies into a big cage, Princess attacked them really bad like she chased them around was biting them and scratching them, I had to drag her out, I just put the babies in the carrier and she is running around the shed. I'm a little concerned about weaning the babies now, I know they should have at least another week, will it help if I move her back?

Moving them to a new cage may have upset Princess. I'd keep the babies in the big cage and keep Princess n another cage for the day. Put Princess in with the babies tonight to nurse. If she is calmer and accepts them, leave her there. If she is anxious and attacks them again, remove her. Try again in the morning. She may be more willing to nurse them when her teats are full.

If she still won't accept them, wean them. It's not worth them getting hurt or killed.

Just before I read this I moved Princess and the babies back into their other cage and she was fine with them and they all eat together and she hasn't attacked them since, should I still separate them?

If she is OK with them in the old cage, leave them there for another week. Then wean them. And remember this the next time you breed her. Put her in the bigger cage before she kindles, because she doesn't handle moves very well with babies.

I won't be breeding her, I'll be getting her spayed in a couple of weeks. She seems fine I've been out to check on her again, I have a feeling they are weaned already anyway, they never try and feed off her. I'll give them another week thought just incase.
