Update on my female rabbit

I mentioned before how my young male climbed out of his cage and was found with my 3 month old female. How will I know if shes pregnant? Her nipples feel bigger but does that happeb with age as well? Its been a few weeks. Hes being neutered april 9th and she will be spayed in may.

That is natural when they hit maturity but doesn't rule out that she isn't.

How's her temperament? She crankier than normal? Moody, doesn't like you touching places you could brfore?

How many weeks has it been since?

All you can really do is wait at about two weeks someone who knows how to palpate should be able to feel balls in her belly but otherwise the long wait is ahead.

If she's a small breed like a Nethie or Lionhead then anything over four months isn't much to worry about.

If you are concerned best thing would be to get an ultrasound but if it was me I would wait it out and organize a vet just in case.

She will be 4 months when they born. I gently felt her abdonman but I didnt feel anything
Her litter box habits have become awful. Is that a sign?

Could be that she thinks that's a good place to kindle the litter. Most of my does hang back on one side of the cage or don't go in the interior, depending on the cage. But most of mine keep up litter habits unless they're moved from their cage and need to be reminded how to use it.

It's possible she's pregnant, but at her age a change in litterbox habits can simply be a result of hormones from maturing too. They only way is to really wait and see.

I DID move her to a larger cage. Maybe thats why shes pooping everywhere.

Questiom about a nest box. Everything I have read says to add it a few days before her due date. Is it not recommended to add one sooner?

They use it as a litter box. The whole idea of adding it on day 28 is so they get used to it being there but not so much that they start going potty in it.
