I posted about me and my bunny Acorn McButtons a while ago. Somehow though after my second post on the forum my password changed and I have been trying forever to retrieve it but it won't happen. The passwords I am sent via email never work. Also the first name I tried to register with I never got sent an activation link for so this is my third attempt. I emailed the roforumstaff but only got a reply yesterday after quite a long time. (Since I last posted)I'm still having trouble but again I havent heard back from anyone so here is my last attempt to become an active member. Hopefully nothing happens with my account this time :(

As I mentioned before I am from New Jersey. I have 1 mini rex bun named Acorn who is my pride and joy now. I am adopting another mini rex female for him to hopefully bond with. I have 2 lion heads that were dumped on me and luckily the rescue who I am adopting from is taking them in and having them neutered because they did start to get aggresive and I had to seperate.

I do wildlife rehabilitation although I havent had experience with the wild buns yet. I am allergic to standard bunny fur and for the most part the same goes with lion heads. So far rex has been the only coat I am ok with allergy wise, so I am a bit weary of taking in a wild bun to rehab and having a allergic fit lol.

So thats basically me and my bunny in a nutshell :)

Hopefully I will be able to post more and become an active member :)

Hi! I love mini-rex!

Welcome back! hope the account is ok now - I think they've had a few technical difficulties lately - but they seem to be doing better now!

Thanks :)

Here are some older pics when I first got him. Need to take some recents :) he's a lot more spoiled now with tons of toys

He's an opal, right?

He's GORGEOUS! I just love them! Bo is my little man! such an attitude, but so sweet also!

Acorn is definitely a dollbaby!

Hello:welcome1 back again....

Man if those are old pics and you say now that Acorn is even more spoilt with loads of toys etc....well I can imagine, that is one of the most spoiled buns I have ever seen...

Note to self: GET more toys for my buns and oh... a little thing with a bell thats got food in it.

My buns are SO jealous;)

Hehe thanks. He's got carpeted doggie steps now that lead out of the cage. I was a bit nervous with the ramps although he wasn't.:rollseyes

That food was the mix I got when I had taken him in, he's on a much healthier pellet now. He still gets his nibble rings occasionally though. I'll have to take some new pics later on today.

I thought he was an Opal as well but maybe a pale Opal and someone else told me he was a Lynx. I have no clue what he is really lol. It would be nice to know though.

I'll take more pics of him. His coloring isn't showing that great in the pics. He has more lighter areas and mroe darker areas then in those pics.

I absolutely love rexes. He's gorgeous :inlove:I have one of my own and one foster. :biggrin2:He looks well entertained there. I love the ramp!

Oh btw, Lemonaxis, I have a bell like that too and Dahlia loves it. I will get another for the other two. It's great for their greens :biggrin2:plus the sound isn't very annoying at all...

Glad you seemed to be sorted this time :), sorryyou've had problems, the forum is having technical issues right now. :?

Acorn is a cutie! I adore rexes, my first rabbit was a rex. And Acorn is the cutest name, I love it!

Acorn certainly seems to be spoiled! Normally pet shop cages are too small, but you've found a really good one, he's got plenty of space in there. :D

Hope you enjoy this forum, it's a very nice and friendly community. :highfive:
