Hi everyone our bunnies chew holes in the towels we have laying around for them but I've been reading that some buns do n others don't bother them at all, are ours lacking something are they bored do they just like it? Their room is carpeted n they have cardboard tunnels and other chew things I just don't know if I should be panicking or not any advice would be greatly appreciated thank u

My bun chews towels and whips them around, and does a digging motion with them. It's just one thing he does when he feels like it, I wouldn't worry about it. They say destructive behaviour is a result of boredom, and I don't consider that destructive.

The danger comes if they're ingesting pieces of their towels. If they're biting holes in them but not eating them you don't have to worry. Your best bet if you're not sure is to only offer things that are safe for them to eat, like grass mats.
