So she is just like a pug LOL I love pugs. I guess I love her to LOL

I love pugs too. And bulldogs. SO cute. :p

;D I wouldn't call it a purr, but my bun also makes noises when he drinks from his water dish. Cute little slurpy, snorty and squeaky sounds. He's a Mini Rex so I can't claim the nasal 'xcuse.

:yeahthat:

A lot of mine do the squeaky slurpy thing when they drink, but I forget who. I think my mini-rex in particular as well, but I could be wrong. Maybe my mini-lop? More than one make the noise, but somebunny is really vocal when they drink and its quite funny!

sas :bunnydance:

K, so this is a little confusing, lol. So teeth grinding in rabbits is referred to as 'purring'? In rats, it's called 'bruxing', and in guinea pigs 'purring' is, well, a purr. lol. And of course, there's the cat-purr.:cry2 Don't they also grind their teeth to help wear them down?

And my Willoughby bruxes/purrs lots too.

There is different levels of grinding. The soft purr that we are talking about is a happy content purr/grind.

Bunnies grind harder when they are in pain. You would be able to tell the difference.

They don't really grind to keep their teeth trim. Hay veggies and there diet does that mainly.

Kat

Hope that helped
