Ok, so my Mini Rex doe, Taffy, lovves to stomp her feet. My bedroom window was open and I'm on the second floor and she's outside our house on the ground. This morning, she woke me up stomping her feetso loud, like 6 or 7 times! She tends to get soar hocks, or at least loses fur on her feet, and i"m wondering if anyway has a way to get her to stop. She has carpet over 3/4 of her cage but that still doesn't seem to help.

I think they stomp when either excited or afraid. I wonder if she does it when some predator wanders by, since she is outside.

Another possibility: Does she typically do it in the morning? And do you usually bring her some kind of goody in the morning? If so, maybe she is stamping in excited anticipation of that. We bring ours a salad every morning, and they run around stamping as we approach with the salad.
